I felt crappy/jittery after morning coffee today. I’ve been trying to get more in touch with my body and brain and physical needs. So, I decided to meditate and ask my (often so needy) body and brain what they needed next to return to productivity. Meditation gave me some steps to follow, so I started following them, and afterwards, I decided I should write down what I did. So, I started making (another) log of “Daily Brainfog/Health Problems Solved” in (another) notes app and put what I wrote in it.
Today’s entry:
“2020-02-21:
problem: morning meds+caffeine supplement+food+coffee = over-caffeinated but not externally hyper, internal jitters, can’t focus
solution: drank water, meditation => realized and took bathroom break => tried 15 min calisthenics even though I didn’t feel externally hyper => jitter lessened but sleepy => 20 minute break => still kinda spacey but somewhat productive”
I have many such abandoned “health log” type documents across hard drives and note apps over the years. Hopefully I remember this one exists 🤷🏽♂️. #adhd
